Despite the significant losses, support from the auto industry—including classic American automaker Ford Motors—has arrived for the community. Ford has unveiled initiatives to assist impacted community members and first responders as they begin the process of recovery and rebuilding.

 
Ford Motor Company has become synonymous with iconic cars like the Ford Mustang and innovative models like the Ford Lightning. Still, its legacy also includes a deep commitment to philanthropy that goes back to its early days. Ford changed the world by making the automobile more than just a luxury; it became essential for people nationwide. Ford's impact on communities is just as significant as its automotive achievements, showing that while Ford builds cars, communities help build Ford.

 
Henry Ford was a man of remarkable talent. In 1886, he built his first crude automobile with four bicycle wheels and an engine that lacked a reverse function. Still, it was a start. By 1903, Ford was ready to establish the Ford Motor Company, a decision that would change history forever.

 
Ford Motor Company has announced that it is discontinuing the Ford EcoSport. The move is a surprise, as the EcoSport has been one of the company's most popular small crossovers. The EcoSport first hit the market in 2003 and has been updated several times.

 Our popular and meaningful "Fill the Truck" toy drive is back this year! This special program is back this year by popular demand and runs through early December. On December 16th, 2022, we'll deliver toys to LifeLine Shelter. We aim to fill three Ford trucks with toys, and we hope you'll help us reach that mark.

 

The 2022 Ford Maverick is expected to be released next year as 21 prototypes are currently undergoing tests by the automaker to finalize the details included in the model. Many drivers have requested Ford to release a smaller pickup truck, which has prompted the brand to produce a "C-Pick Up." Ford released information about the production data in recent months to its investors.

 

Alliance for Greater Works wants marginalized communities to get the help they need to fight injustice. Unfortunately, there are many injustices that these communities face in Texas. The mission of this non-profit is "Dismantling the root causes of injustices affecting marginalized communities." It might sound complicated, and injustice certainly is complicated, but the actual work they do is practical-minded and makes an immediate, hands-on impact.

With its commitment to customer satisfaction, Ford wants to help people stay as safe as possible during the COVID-19 pandemic. The company's latest safety initiative, called "Finish Strong," will provide 30,000 masks to a deserving organization. Ford is asking for the public's recommendations for organizations that would benefit from receiving the COVID-19 safety masks scheduled for distribution on March 13, 2021.

This year, our popular and meaningful "Fill the Truck" toy drive is back, and you're invited to participate. Our goal is to fill three Ford trucks with toys, and we hope that you'll help us reach that mark. On December 13, 2020, we'll be delivering the toys to LifeLine Shelter.

 

Ford has added new features to its Co-Pilot360 driver-assist system. Fords Active Drive Assist consists of an intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control system and a Lane Centering feature. The Hands-Free Mode enables drivers to relax their hands off the steering in pre-mapped individual sections of the road while paying attention to the road ahead.
