What's New for the 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning?

The F-150 Lightning has earned top marks as an electric pickup truck thanks to its practicality and energy efficiency blend. Built on the same chassis as the iconic Ford F-150, the Lightning swaps its gasoline engine for an electric powertrain. The newest Lightning gains subtle tweaks to its standard features and now ships with a mobile charging cable that includes an NACS adapter.

What Are the 2025 F-150 Lightning Trims & Features?

For 2025, the Lightning lineup includes five trims.

The entry-level Pro is equipped with vinyl seating and floors, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a factory trailer hitch. It also features satellite radio, a digital gauge display, a 12-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 120V outlet. The Pro rolls on 18-inch wheels, sports LED headlamps, and supports DC fast charging.

The XLT steps up to carpeted floors, adds a power-adjustable driver's seat, a leather steering wheel, storage beneath the rear seats, and more advanced safety systems.

The Flash trim upgrades to 20-inch wheels, a power tailgate with integrated step, a 15.5-inch infotainment screen, a heated steering wheel, push-button start, and keyless access. It also includes a wireless charging pad, an eight-speaker B&O audio setup, BlueCruise hands-free driving, and additional driver-assist features.

The Lariat adds a dual-pane sunroof, heated rear seating, ventilated front seats, and premium leather upholstery.

At the top, the Platinum boasts 22-inch wheels, a 14-speaker premium sound system, massaging front seats, high-end leather trim, a towing package, and Pro Power Onboard delivering up to 9.6 kW.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2025 F-150 Lightning Have?

The standard dual-motor configuration produces 452 hp and 775 lb-ft of torque. Opting for the extended-range battery on higher trims increases output to 580 hp, enhancing overall range.
