What's New for the 2026 Ford Bronco Sport?
The 2026 Ford Bronco Sport introduces a new Bronze Package. This appearance group includes 17-inch Sinister Bronze wheels and bold bronze accents across the exterior. Inside, the cabin features subtle bronze details. This package is offered on the Big Bend and Badlands trims, providing a unique look for both the base and flagship models.
What Are the 2026 Bronco Sport Trims & Features?
There are four available trim levels: Big Bend, Heritage, Outer Banks, and Badlands.
The Big Bend trim serves as a capable starting point, featuring five G.O.A.T. Modes™ and a standard 4X4 drivetrain. Standard technology highlights include a SYNC® 4 13.2-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®, an 8.0-inch digital instrument cluster, and push-button start.
Showcasing a throwback design, the Heritage trim includes a signature white roof and plaid cloth bucket seats. It also features all-terrain tires to support its rugged looks. Its feature list closely follows the standard equipment found on the Big Bend.
The Outer Banks trim is designed for drivers who prioritize luxury. It includes leather-trimmed seating and dual-zone automatic climate control. Heated front bucket seats are also standard to ensure a comfortable commute in colder weather.
At the top of the range, the Badlands trim focuses on trail-ready performance. It is built with steel bash plates, an upgraded suspension system, and an advanced 4X4 system with a twin-clutch rear-drive unit. For maximum capability, the Sasquatch Badlands Package is available as an add-on.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2026 Bronco Sport Have?
The standard powertrain for most models is a 1.5-liter EcoBoost® engine that generates 180 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque. This three-cylinder engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and 4X4 capability.
The Badlands trim is powered by a high-output 2.0-liter EcoBoost® engine, yielding 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. While it shares the eight-speed automatic transmission with other models, the Badlands features paddle shifters on the steering wheel.
What Safety Features Does the 2026 Bronco Sport Include?
Safety is a priority in the Bronco Sport, which comes standard with Ford Co-Pilot360® Assist+. Key driver-assist features include Adaptive Cruise Control, the Blind Spot Information System, and Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking.
