For a very different interpretation of EcoBoost, the 2026 Mustang EcoBoost uses a 2.3L engine rated at 315 horsepower and 350 lb.-ft. of torque when using 93-octane fuel. 
Need a pickup? The 2026 Ranger offers three EcoBoost choices. Its 2.3L produces 270 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque, while the available 2.7L reaches 315 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. Properly configured Ranger models with either of those engines can tow up to 7,500 pounds. 
The F-150 takes EcoBoost capability further. Its 2.7L EcoBoost V6 produces 325 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque, while the 3.5L EcoBoost reaches 400 horsepower and 500 lb.-ft. The High-Output 3.5L EcoBoost increases those figures to 450 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft.

For example, Ford lists regular unleaded as the minimum fuel for the 2026 Bronco Sport, although premium is recommended with its 2.0L EcoBoost. Ford’s published 315-horsepower and 350-lb.-ft. ratings for the Mustang EcoBoost, meanwhile, are based on 93-octane fuel.
