What's New For the 2021 Ford EcoSport?
For 2021, Ford removes the driver-side power adjustability on the EcoSport's SE trim and makes minor changes to the exterior. While the EcoSport loses driver's seat power adjustability on the SE, it becomes standard on the SES and Titanium trims. Other notable updates to the 2021 model are the addition of two new blue and yellow paint colors, 17-inch wheels and a new SE appearance package. This optional add-on package offers upgraded features, such as unique interior cloth with orange accents and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
2021 EcoSport Trims & Features
A subcompact crossover SUV that seats up to five occupants, the 2021 Ford EcoSport is available in S, SE, Titanium, and SES trim levels. Cloth seat trim and a 60/40 split-folding bench-style seat are standard. If you go with either the Titanium or the SES, Ford adds heating ability on the steering wheel. The Titanium, which is styled as the luxury-optimized model, gets perforated leather upholstery, front-seat heating, and 6-way power adjustability on the driver's seat. As the sporty trim, the SES stands out with stain-resistant seat trim.
For infotainment, the EcoSport relies on the SYNC communications system, which includes six speakers, AM/FM radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a pair of USB ports for playing music from mobile devices, and a 4.2-inch screen. Several upgrades await you at the SE trim level, including a power moonroof, an automatic climate control system, a trial subscription to SiriusXM Radio, MyKey for proximity keyless entry, a smart key, push-button engine start, and SYNC 3 infotainment integration with an 8-inch touchscreen. The SES is the only trim with a seven-speaker stereo system. An auto-dimming rearview mirror, trial subscriptions to SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link, and a voice-activated 8-inch touchscreen navigation system appear at the Titanium trim level, and it is the only variant with a 10-speaker stereo system.

2021 Ford EcoSport Horsepower
The performance-optimized SES is the lone EcoSport trim with a 166-horsepower 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. The other trims get a smaller, turbocharged 123-horsepower 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine. Across all trims, the Ford Ecosport offers a conventional 6-speed automatic transmission.
Ford EcoSport Safety
For driver assistance, Ford provides the 2021 Ford EcoSport with the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite, which consists of automatic high beams, a blind-spot information system, and a rearview camera. Ten airbags- driver and front-passenger knee airbag, side impact airbags, two front seat-mounted side impact airbags, and two roof-mounted side curtain airbags-are on board for restraint and cushioning if there's a crash. The SE gets super-bright and long-lasting LEDs instead of the regular halogen light bulbs on the daytime running lamps, and rear parking sensors join the rearview camera to provide audible alerts when you're getting too close to surrounding objects. Exclusive to the Titanium is a perimeter alarm that joins the theft-deterrent system.
