There is a saying that good things come in small packages, and the 2019 Ford Fiesta proves it's true. Despite its compact size, the 2019 Fiesta has more to offer than many other vehicles in its class. This year's Fiesta opens the door for many possibilities if you want a personalized finish. With five trims and 10 exterior paint options, you can mix and match however you'd like. The latest Fiesta is brimming with the latest technology, including the Ford SYNC infotainment system that offers connectivity at the touch of your fingers. The Fiesta is offered with two engines this year, including a turbocharged engine that churns out nearly 200 HP. The latest Fiesta is also equipped with plenty of safety features, no matter which trim level you choose.

2019 Fiesta Has Abundant Features

The 2019 Ford Fiesta offers four trim levels. The base model is the S. This trim, which comes in a sedan version, comes standard with a 12V power charging outlet, an audio auxiliary jack, a dome lamp with map lights, and carpeted floor mats in the front. It also features a front console with integrated cup holders and a cell phone storage area. A highly visible LCD screen with a multi-function message center comes in handy when you want to know how your car is performing. Power-locking doors, a rear window defroster, and the SYNC infotainment system with Applink, which pairs with your smartphone, lets you get directions, listen to music, send and receive calls, and more as you're driving.

The SE, which is next in line, comes in a sedan and hatchback version. While the sedan offers just under 20 cubic feet of storage space, the hatchback offers close to 30 and also has a slighter wider design and a fifth door in the back. Their interior amenities, however, are virtually the same. A leather-wrapped shift knob, two 12V USB charging ports, cruise control, and premium cloth bucket seats are amenities you can enjoy in the SE. The ST-Line features the SYNC 3 infotainment system with navigation and a leather-wrapped shift knob with metallic inserts. The seats are made in a custom sport design for comfort and support. They are embroidered with the ST trim logo. Adjustable front seats and head restraints are other highlights of this trim level. Topping the line is the ST. This trim level adds to that list a leather-wrapped wheel with custom red stitching, the Ford SYNC 3 infotainment system with an enhanced audio system, embroidered leather seats, a trip computer, and dual smart-charging USB ports.

Ford Fiesta Performance

Beneath the hood, the 2019 Fiesta is powered by one of two engines. The base engine is a 1.6L four-cylinder engine that produces up to 120 HP. This engine is paired with a five-speed manual transmission, and a six-speed automatic transmission is optional. The second engine, which is available on the lower-level trims and standard on the ST, is a more powerful 1.6L turbocharged engine. This engine has a maximum output of 197 HP and 202 LB-FT of torque. In addition to providing more power, this engine has a fuel-saving mode to maximize fuel efficiency.

Safety Features in the Forefront for 2019

Inside and out, the 2019 Ford Fiesta gets a nod of approval for its safety features. The body is designed with reinforced steel columns to deflect energy from an impact. There are seven standard airbags throughout the cabin, including two in the front, a driver's knee airbag, and side curtain airbags. Other standard safety features include a backup camera, traction control, child safety locks, and a post-crash emergency alert system.
