2022 Ford Maverick Trims & Features
Three trim levels will be available as part of the 2022 Ford Maverick's package. The base model is the XL trim level. You can take a step up to the XLT trim level, which includes 17-inch aluminum wheels, cruise control, a power locking tailgate, and powered exterior mirrors. It also has the option for an upgraded turbocharged engine. There is also a top-notch Lariat trim level available. We recommend looking at the XLT trim level if you want a lot of features on a budget, but you can choose the XL model if you're on a tight budget and don't need a lot of bells and whistles.
2022 Ford Maverick Horsepower
A hybrid engine is the feature of the 2022 Maverick with a 2.5 liter, four-cylinder inclusion. It achieves 191 horsepower. Front-wheel drive is provided standard, along with the inclusion of a CVT. There is also a powertrain package available that doesn't include the electric motor. Instead, you get a more basic 2.0-liter engine with four cylinders that includes an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is an optional feature.

The 2022 Ford Maverick is pretty basic when it comes to standard safety features, which includes automated emergency braking. You can add on a bunch of other safety features like lane departure warnings, which are designed to help you stay informed when you're inadvertently moving out of your lane.
