Battery health is very important to overall vehicle safety and convenience. That’s why we highly recommend knowing the various signs that can come up, indicating that there might be a problem with your car’s battery. 1) Your engine is slow to crank. A very common sign of battery failure is a slow to crank engine. Healthy batteries should allow a car to crank on the first try, but an unhealthy battery will take two or three tries before you can get going.

2) Your battery is old. If you haven’t replaced your battery in four or more years, most likely your car isn’t operating at full power. Experts recommend having your battery replaced every 3 years are so, ensuring that you’ll never be stranded on your way home from the grocery store.

3) You battery case is bloated. Swelling or bloating in the battery case can indicate that your battery has overheated and possibly about to fail.

4) Your battery is leaking. A battery leak can cause your cable connections to not work properly causing overall failure. Head down to your local service center in Grand Prairie to get it removed by a certified service technician.
