The 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning is a full-size truck with a lot to offer. It combines all the benefits of the regular F-150 with improved efficiency. The Lightning is comfortable to ride in, quick to accelerate, and capable of handling various tasks throughout the workday. It's a practical truck with new styling options for select trims this year and some updates to standard and available features.

What Are the 2024 F-150 Lightning Trims & Features?

There are five trims available in the F-150 series.

The Pro trim starts the lineup with LED headlights, 18-inch wheels, and a crew cab design. It also includes a Class IV hitch, an electronic-locking rear axle, vinyl seats, black vinyl flooring, heated front seats, and dual-zone climate control.

The XLT trim features larger alloy wheels and carpeted floors instead of vinyl. Interior upgrades include a leather steering wheel, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and power-adjustable pedals. It also has a rear window defroster for safer and more convenient driving in cold weather, plus additional under-seat rear storage.

The Flash trim adds a wireless phone charger, a heated steering wheel, a power liftgate with an integrated step, a push-button start, and a keyless entry system.

The Lariat trim includes a dual-pane sunroof, leather seats, ventilated front seats, and power-folding exterior mirrors.

The Platinum trim comes with 22-inch wheels, upgraded leather seats, massaging front seats, interior trim upgrades, and a 14-speaker sound system.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2024 F-150 Lightning Have?

The Lightning has a maximum power output of 452 horsepower and 775 pound-feet of torque with the base powertrain and up to 580 horsepower with the larger battery pack available in the Flash, Lariat, and Platinum trims. The Ford Lightning can tow up to 7,700 pounds regardless of the powertrain. Four-wheel drive is standard on all models, and the F-150 Lightning offers up to 240 miles of all-electric range.

What Safety Features Does the 2024 F-150 Lightning Include?

The 2024 F-150 Lightning includes a range of standard driver-assistance features, with Ford's new BlueCruise semi-autonomous driving mode available as an option.
