Coca-Cola & 2017 Ford Escape Hit the Road for Cross-Country Road Trip

The 2017 Ford Escape has teamed up with Coca-Cola in an effort to raise brand awareness during a 21-day journey across the U.S.

Sporting custom Coca-Cola badging and a #JourneyXJourney social media hashtag, the new Escape is sure to grab attention during the 4,000 mile, 20-plus stop trip. The tour will end in Los Angeles on Oct. 5. The compact SUV will also be trailed by a 40-foot motorhome with some of the same branding features.

For 2017, the Ford Escape comes standard with automatic climate control on the SE. Every new Escape gets a new convenient storage area that is strategically placed in front of the shift lever, giving drivers and passengers ample room to store their small devices. Outside, the sporty Ford gets new front-end styling, giving it a fresh and modern look that is similar to the Ford Edge.

The 2017 Escape is available in two other trims: S and Titanium. The base S gets top-notch standard features like 17-inch steel wheels, automatic headlights, LED taillights and MyKey, which lets owners set specific driving parameters for teen drivers and valets.
