2017 Ford F-150 Earns High Honor from Kelley Blue Book

We are proud to announce that it’s another win for the ultra-durable and dependable F-150. The 2017 Ford F-150 was recently crowned Best Buy of the Year for trucks award by national automotive outlet Kelley Blue Book. This top honor marks the third year in a row that the F-150 has earned the prestigious accolade.

For the current model year, the F-150 receives several major enhancements that are definitely worth mentioning. First, Ford has revamped the available 3.5-liter V6 and paired it with a brand-new 10-speed transmission. For all who want the ultimate off-road truck, the Raptor is the way to go; it gets a high-output version of the V6 that is able to crank out a mind-blowing 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. A 282-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 that delivers 253 pound-feet of torque comes standard. Towing capacity maxes out at 12,200 pounds when properly equipped.

Standard features include 17-inch steel wheels, pre-wired trailer connections, a 4.2-inch display screen, Bluetooth and a four-speaker sound system. Dual-zone automatic climate control, leather-wrapped steering and an eight-power driver set can be had on upper trims.

Ford’s MyKey, which allows owners to set specific driving parameters for teen drivers is standard on the XLT and up. All F-150 models come equipped with trailer sway control, automatic crash notification, and stability and traction control.
